Pakistan and the European Union have signed the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) Apportionment Agreement, ensuring continuity, predictability, and legal certainty in bilateral trade following the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.
Speaking at the ceremony in Brussels, Ambassador Rahim Hayat Qureshi underscored that the agreement is a milestone on strengthening technical cooperation , deepening economic ties, and a shared commitment to multilateralism and a rules-based global trading system.
