Terms and Conditions

Legal terms and conditions for using EUReflect services

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of any website, mobile application, connected television platform, or other digital service (collectively referred to as the "Service") that is owned, managed, or operated by EUReflect. By using the Service, you agree to comply with the rules set out below, which regulate the Service itself as well as any products or services offered through it, unless separate, specific terms apply. Where the term "Service" is used, it shall be understood to include all related products and services, unless otherwise specified.

1. User Responsibilities

By accessing, browsing, or interacting with this Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, along with any additional rules or policies that EUReflect may introduce from time to time. Any form of use—including viewing, downloading, participating, or interacting—constitutes your agreement to comply with these Terms.

EUReflect may revise or update these Terms at its discretion by publishing changes online. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service following any changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service and any related offerings.

In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and specific rules governing particular products or services, the latter shall take precedence with respect to those products or services.

2. Conditions of Use

The Service may only be used for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate applicable laws, infringe the rights of others, or interfere with their ability to use and enjoy the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, harassment, defamation, offensive or abusive language, obscene material, or any behavior deemed inappropriate at EUReflect's sole discretion.

The Service is designed for a general audience and is not specifically targeted at children. By using the Service, you confirm that either: (i) you are at least 18 years old; or (ii) you meet the minimum age requirement applicable in your jurisdiction; or (iii) you have obtained all necessary parental or legal guardian consents.

EUReflect may transfer or assign its rights or obligations under these Terms to another party. In such cases, reasonable steps will be taken to notify users and ensure that their legal rights are not adversely affected.

3. User-Generated Content

Certain features of the Service may allow users to upload, submit, or share content, including but not limited to personal information, images, videos, audio files, comments, articles, opinions, usage data, or other materials ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you agree to the following:

3.1 You grant EUReflect a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, distribute, display, perform, or remove your User Content, in whole or in part, across any media or platform. You waive any moral rights or similar rights associated with such content.

3.2 EUReflect may use User Content for any purpose, including editorial, promotional, technical, or operational uses, at its sole discretion.

3.3 You agree to comply with all policies or guidelines issued by EUReflect regarding User Content. You remain solely responsible for your submissions and for any claims or legal consequences arising from them.

3.4 You confirm that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and authorisations to submit User Content and to grant EUReflect the rights described herein.

3.5 You must not submit content protected by copyright, confidentiality, privacy, or other proprietary rights unless you have obtained all required permissions from the relevant rights holders.

3.6 You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, hateful, politically inflammatory, discriminatory, or otherwise violates applicable laws, cultural standards, or ethical norms.

3.7 EUReflect retains full discretion over whether to publish, display, or use any User Content and is under no obligation to include any submission on the Service or elsewhere.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

Information regarding the collection, use, and sharing of personal data is set out in the EUReflect Privacy Notice, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

5. Service Access

EUReflect does not guarantee that the Service or its content is appropriate or accessible in all jurisdictions. Access from locations where the content is unlawful is prohibited. Users accessing the Service from outside the primary operating jurisdiction do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

EUReflect may impose fees or taxes related to access or use of the Service, as permitted by law. It also reserves the right to suspend, restrict, modify, or terminate access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including non-compliance, security concerns, or misuse.

If login credentials are provided, you must keep them confidential and secure. EUReflect may revoke access or disable credentials if it believes you have breached these Terms.

6. Copyright and Other Intellectual Property

All names, images, logos, and other identifying elements associated with EUReflect, its affiliated entities, or any third parties, as well as their respective products and services, constitute the exclusive property of the relevant rights holders. Nothing contained herein shall be interpreted as granting, whether expressly or implicitly, any licence, right, or entitlement under any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right belonging to EUReflect, its affiliates, or any third party.

All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights subsisting in this Service—including, but not limited to, its design, layout, structure, and overall look and feel—as well as all materials and content made available through the Service, shall at all times remain the property of EUReflect or its licensors. By accessing the Service, users acknowledge and agree that such access is granted solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Users may not, without the prior written authorisation of a duly authorised representative of EUReflect, authorise, encourage, permit, or assist any third party to copy, reproduce, download, upload, store, distribute, transmit, broadcast, commercially exploit, modify, or otherwise infringe upon any intellectual property rights in any content accessible on or through the Service.

Furthermore, users are strictly prohibited from authorising, encouraging, permitting, or assisting any unauthorised copying, text or data mining, or web scraping activities in relation to the Service. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to: (i) the use of any automated tools, technologies, or processes—such as spiders, bots, scrapers, or similar mechanisms—to access, extract, copy, monitor, or record any part of the Service or any information, content, or User Submissions made available through it; and (ii) the deployment of automated systems or analytical technologies to examine any portion of the Service or its content for the purpose of identifying patterns, trends, correlations, or other forms of data analysis.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

EUReflect is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party websites, applications, or materials linked through the Service. Accessing third-party content is at your own risk. EUReflect does not endorse and is not liable for any products, services, or information provided by third parties.

Any links to the Service must be direct, unframed, and comply with applicable legal requirements. Linking does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EUReflect disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." EUReflect does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free functionality, or the absence of viruses or defects. Any reliance on information obtained through the Service is solely at your own discretion.

EUReflect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic damages, including loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EUReflect, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or submission of User Content.

You acknowledge that you may encounter content from other users that may be inaccurate, offensive, or objectionable and waive any claims against EUReflect related to such content.
