Kazakhstani diplomas have gained broader recognition in the Asia-Pacific region

The Mazhilis has ratified UNESCO’s Tokyo Convention, aimed at simplifying the procedure for recognizing diplomas and qualifications among Asian countries. The decision opens up new opportunities for Kazakh citizens to study and work in a number of states.

The document also provides for the establishment of national information centers. Their task is to supply data on the structure of education systems, university accreditation, and to exchange this information with regional partners.
