Business Diplomat: Platforms for the Age
Information now governs the world, says Gulbahor Saidganiyeva, and creating special platforms is the demand of the time. Interviewed by: Mirzajon Qalandarov, Lecturer Interviewee: Gulbahor Saidganiyeva, Member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Why does business need dedicated platforms? In this part of its interview series, Business Diplomat presents the reasoning behind Gulbahor Saidganiyeva’s closing point.
First observation: the age of information
She gives the reason in a single sentence: “Because now information governs the world.” In her view, the age’s main resource is information. Whoever obtains it, shapes it and communicates it well holds a decisive advantage in trade and business.
Second observation: the demand of the time
From this she concludes that the creation of special platforms is now a demand of the time. The word “special” matters. General channels are crowded, and what business needs are purpose-built spaces for professional exchange, reliable information and structured dialogue.
The logic of the assessment
Her argument is straightforward. If information is the world’s main governing force, those who work with it professionally gain influence. A platform gathers people, standards and information in one place, making the whole more reliable than any individual’s effort.
The role of Business Diplomat
This is the reason Business Diplomat exists as a platform: to give young people experience, bring a diplomatic order to the business world, and benefit states by revitalising the economy. Saidganiyeva’s closing sentence supports that model, since a well-run platform is a practical response to a world governed by information.
Conclusion
Information governs the world, and platforms that organise it well are the response the time demands. Saidganiyeva’s final point leaves little room for doubt.
